Been coming to this place since I was small and let me just say the place hasn't changed at all. The best burgers in the Valley.

Two words: old school.
I hadn't even been born yet and my dad had already been coming to this location. Great family deal: 4 cheeseburgers, 4 fries, and 4 sodas. I still wonder why it's a CASH only food location.
If the place accepted more payment options, I would definitely eat here more often.
Maybe one day they'll move on up and accept credit cards, maybe even build their own APP.
Until then, this restaurant is still stuck in time, the 1950s to be exact. -

I would secretly eat here every day if it were possible but then I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. Lets me start off by saying this is NOT the Original Tommy's you've known to love. This Tommy's is even better!
Everything that I've eaten here is always so good. Most of it is greasy and that s perfectly ok with me. I usually get a pastrami burger, cheeseburger, chili cheese fries or melt sandwich. Sometimes I get more than one of these together in different combinations. Ok, maybe I always get chili cheese fried with every order. I'm telling you because the food is that good.
You also want to get any of their sodas or horchata. Not because of the drink but because of the ice they use. It's small pebbled crush ice that just makes every drink better.
Lastly, this place is cash only. The prices are fare and reasonable. Not expensive at all. So walk to an ATM in the area and make sure to pull out cash before goig in to order. -

CASH ONLY. Love ordering the Tommy's special, a cheeseburger with fries and a drink only $8-what a steal!
The ordering system is quite different compared to other chains. First you order then you wait and pay when your order is called. Pretty simple, but if hoping to look like a local this is good to remember. Also when picking up your order, if you like seasoned french fries ask for the seasoning salt if it's not out. This sprinkle of seasoning can change your mood.
The meal is filling, somedays if i'm not too hungry I can't finish it all.
They also have a drive thru and it's very old fashioned (people can hear your order from the inside). The parking is average, spaces on the side near the wall or two or three in the front. There is also street parking available, relatively easy to park.
Overall, great burger joint. Don't forget, CASH ONLY!
